Zions Art Annual Show (SLC)

Kristy Moffat, Anne Marie, me, Chris and Chris Fketcher, Cherilyn Fisher, my brother John, an artist, Jenny Montague and her date.
The famous ice sculpture.

Jenna Adams' brother Sam and my brother John.
I heard some amazing live music. Classic was one variety and there was classical guitar and also jazz, among others.
Gorgeous floral oils
John saw one of his old professors from BYU when he was taking illustration design classes.  See his paintings below.

Mixology drinks with dry ice.
The cutest tiniest little hot chocolate with a homemade don't it inside.
The view from the 18th floor.
Yummy yummy desserts.
Erin Barrett and Anne Marie.

We also saw Ben Behunin with his pottery and even some new books that he is recently published. So fun! He invited us to have a special visit at his studio a day before his holiday sale so we can avoid the crowds. It's fun getting to know these artists personally and building relationships with them.

LDS International Art Competition

In October 22nd Cherilyn and I went to the Church History Musem to attend the artists reception for a new show on the life of Christ.  Saw some lovely and interesting pieces.
I got to meet Ben Behunin, a potter and author ("The Wise Potter of Neiderbip").
Mark Malm is one of my favorite painters.  He went to junior high with my husband. Mark has a wonderful way of capturing light.

Last Class at the BDAC

Tonight all the students had an art review at the end of class. It was great to see everybody's paintings. Had a great time.

One of the students, Alana, brought samples of frames that her son who is an artist builds for sale. They are gorgeous and they are at a good price.  His name is Adam Winegar. His phone number is 801–604–9657.
My painting is nearly finished. Check it out.
